Flotation Process

This process will permit the removal of about 50 % and event 60% of all color and more than 80% of the turbidity, when properly operated.

The process will use – at least – 4 chemicals to achieve the results

The preparation for the Chemicals will be done in the Chemical House. There will be prepared all the chemicals, for the use during the day.

The scum will be sent to the Scum Sugar Recovery unit.
